This is a beautiful 1927 D & M Tile Co Los Angeles. Famous for their tile work all over buildings and fountains in Los Angeles. John Davies and McDonald founders written up it The American Tile Book P.196-8 Wood Base with two fold down sides. 6 Colorful Tiles. They have done tile work in Missions Inn, San Bernardino, and the Biltmore Hotel to memtion only a couple. Many U.S. Presidents stayed in these hotels and inns. Just about all the rich tycoons and famous. Included is Pres.T.R. for one example.
