    1860 HENRY RIFLE W/ PROVENANCE

Here is the most beautiful Civil War 1860 Henry Rifle with Provenance ever to be offered, atleast that is my opinion. The Records of the Army Adjutant General's Office show that this arm was used in Co. K, 3rd U.S. Veteran Volunteer Infantry, during the Civil War 1865. This Rifle Serial Number 3354 was issued to Pvt. William J. Cornwell. I have the original Civil War Papers, Discharge Documents etc. A letter from the Springfield Research Service signed by Franklin B. Mallory the Chief Researcher. Included is the Spring 2007 Issue of the Winchester Collector Magazine which did a feature story and published all of the documents that show Pvt. Wm. Cornwell as the owner of this specific Henry issued 1865. If you have been following some of the Auctions around the country re: Henry's without any provenance you would note they are bringing between $50,000---120,000. on an average. If you are seriously interested in this extremely rare Henry Rifle I will send several emails with pictures and papers of the documentation and info from the Winchester Magazine Spring Issue. I have all of the originals included in the sale. Price by request only 406 270-2842 cell
